The majority of young people aged 15 to 24 can identify two ways to prevent sexual transmission of HIV, such as using condoms and having only one faithful, uninfected partner. However, less than a third of them have comprehensive knowledge about HIV/AIDS, meaning they also know that a person who appears healthy can have HIV and that misconceptions exist about HIV transmission.
